The gravity center of my research interests is on the development of analytical model and process modeling to systematically apply management science fundamentals to solve strategic issues in engineering and technology management.
The integration of key subjects in Management Science and Management of Technology (MOT) which I apply as the foundation of my research is shown in Figure 1. The details and examples of my previous works are shown in each area below by click the more detail button.

Technology Management
My research interests in this area are to help any organization to better manage their technologies throughout the process of technology management starting from strategic gap analysis, technology forecasting, assessment, evaluation, selection, acquisition, transfer, implementation, and knowledge diffusion.

Technology Development Envelope (TDE) and Technology Roadmapping.
These are new areas in technology management practices. My works are centered on the development of technology roadmaps. The implementation of technology roadmapping would help an organization to setup a strategic plan by integrating the development of future science/technology into business aspects. Whereas, TDE is an analytical approach to help any organization determine an optimal path of technology development in which an organization should follow in order to maximize its technological benefits. The results of TDE approach can be used for constructing a strategic technology roadmap.

Forecasting / Evaluation of Emerging Technologies
In today’s environment, companies see the investment in R&D and emerging technologies as a key solution to maintain its competitiveness. To manage emerging technologies and R&D, it is a lot more than managing existing ones due to higher degree of uncertainty and risk involved.

Expert Systems
Individual’s knowledge and experience is valuable in decision making. However, without proper utilization, it could jeopardize reliability, validity, and precision of the outcomes. My experience was on the development of web-based tools to obtain expert opinion through Delphi method process and expert judgment quantification.
